Naturally sweetened and made with whole wheat flour, these brownie-like muffins are healthier than its usual counterparts.

- Preheat oven to 325° F. Lightly spray a 12 cup muffin tin with nonstick spray or line with parchment holders.
- Mix together the white whole wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, yogurt, vanilla, maple syrup, butter, and milk.
- Pour over the dry ingredients stir by hand. Be careful not to overmix. Due to the whole wheat flour, this is a thicker consistency than usual.
- Fill the muffin cups ⅔ of the way to the top with batter using an ice cream scoop.
- Bake for 18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of a muffin comes out clean. Be careful not to overcook these as they will dry out if you do.
