Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Butter and sprinkle with caster sugar (berry sugar) a 1 Litre ovenproof dish.
  3. Store brown sugar and flour together. Whisk together milk, egg, melted butter and golden syrup until smooth then pour onto flour mixture. Add nuts and mix together until smooth. Spoon into greased pudding bowl.
  4. Mix additional brown sugar and cornflour together and sprinkle over pudding mix. Pour boiling water onto additional golden syrup and pour over pudding. Place in preheated oven and cook for 45 minutes, or until skewer comes out clean when tested.
  5. Serve with cream.

Notes

ANTHOLOGY NOTES

*If you don't have self-rising flour, replace with 150 grams all purpose flour, 2 tsp baking powder, and 1/2 tsp salt.
