Instructions

Cupcakes
  1. Preheat oven to 320°F.
  2. Place butter, sugar and vanilla in electric mixer and beat 10-12 minutes or until light and creamy. Gradually add the eggs and beat well.
  3. Add the flour, baking powder, cocoa and milk and beat until just combined.
  4. Fold through melted chocolate.
  5. Spoon into 12 muffin tins line with cupcake papers.
  6. Bake 18-20 minutes or until cooked when tested with a skewer. Cool on wire racks.
Buttercream
  1. Beat butter 6-8 minutes or until pale and creamy. Add remaining ingredients and beat for further 6-8 minutes or until light and fluffy.
