Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Either grease or line baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Combine all dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Cut in butter with pastry cutter until you get coarse crumbs.
  3. Mix eggs and milk then add to dry mixture, slowly stirring in until moistened.
  4. Turn on to a lightly floured surface and briefly knead. Roll out dough and using cookie cutters, cut out (I honestly break it apart and slightly shape them into what barely passes as a circle but I like the more rustic look). Likewise, you can roll into a ½" thick round and cut into 8 wedge pizza-shaped pieces.
  5. Place onto tray.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until light brown on top.

Notes

If you are making cheese scones, you can also add some green onions and dry mustard.
